ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Travis Burgess is an award-winning director, writer, and producer working in narrative features and documentaries. As a producer, he worked on The Preppie Connection, distributed by IFC Films, and produced the feature documentary Death Metal Angola, which premiered at DOC NYC and screened at more than 60 film festivals worldwide. In 2023, Travis made his directorial debut with Hayseed, a rural mystery thriller released theatrically by Good Deed Entertainment and now streaming on Prime Video, AppleTV, Tubi, and other platforms.
